Predictions for the Canadian Grand Prix from trackside at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve.

Coming to you from trackside at the Canadian Grand Prix hosted at the iconic Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montréal ☺

  1. In the Sprint, I’m predicting George Russell on pole… and then a Sprint win for George ahead of Lewis Hamilton and Kimi Antonelli.

  2. For qualifying, I think Lewis Hamilton takes pole. His first-ever Formula 1 win came at this track, and he always seems fast in Montreal.

  3. For the feature race, I’m predicting a George Russell win, Lewis Hamilton in P2, and Lando Norris in P3.

Watch the video for a bonus prediction. Agree 👍🏻 or Disagree 👎🏻

POST RACE UPDATE

  1. 2 out of 3 - George Russell took the win and Kimi finished 3rd, but Lando Norris stood on the second step of the podium.

  2. Nope. George Russell came out just ahead of Kimi Antonelli, and McLaren locked out the second row.

  3. 1 out of 3 - A Mercedes drive did win it, but it was Kimi taking his 4th consecutive win, followed Lewis Hamilton in 2nd and Max Verstappen claiming his first podium finish of the season in 3rd.

My video-only bonus prediction was also not correct. Maybe I should start predicting good things about my least favourite teams and drivers to jinx them. Or maybe I already did... 🙊
