2026 Chinese Grand Prix Predictions

Greetings from the airport lounge at Pearson International Airport! I'm waiting for my flight to the UK, but while I pass the time, here are my predictions for the 2026 Chinese Grand Prix.
Kimi Antonelli will get past his teammate to win the sprint race.
One of the McLaren drivers will crash out of qualifying and start at the back of the grid.
On the podium, it will another 1-2 for Mercedes with George Russell followed by Kimi Antonelli. Ferrari will be on the podium again, but this time it will be Sir Lewis Hamilton.

I'm giving myself a half-point for this one, because he did better than winning the sprint race 😀
Another half-point, because two DNS = one starting from the back of the grid? Don't overthink it, I don't get paid for this 🤣
One more half-point because again, Kimi was even better than expected (GO TEEN DRIVERS!) and because I correctly called Sir Lewis Hamilton making his triumphant return to the podium with Ferrari 🍾
