Recap - TRAK Race 6

This week was my first time driving on the reverse track set-up. I had hoped to get out for some practice laps ahead of race day, but we were unfortunately not able to make that happen. Getting it together to get out the door on non-race days is hard for a kid with ADHD, but I learned the hard way that it is VERY challenging to race and learn a new track configuration at the same time.

I finally have to accept that practice laps are just as important as showing up for races. Maybe even more important. When my mom has time to take me to take me to the track and she says "Let's go," I have to get a move on before the window of opportunity closes. And maybe I need to be a little more open to training and feedback. On to the next!
